Parisella’s has been making ice cream in Conwy for many decades. From November 2021 to June 2023 I documented the transition from its cramped old factory behind the Bangor Road shops to spacious new premises in a brand new industrial unit on the edge of the town.
This selection of images gives a flavour of operations at the old site and shows the new premises during fitting out. Finally we see inside the new factory during the first week of production there, with manager Tony Parisella (dressed unusually for June!) about to enter the large freezer.
