Having a splashing time at Tryweryn

The club’s latest workshop was held at the National White Water Centre at Tryweryn, near Bala, where club members photographed kayaks and rafts shooting the rapids.

Some of the workshop participants had joined the club within the last year – three of them in the last few weeks! There were plenty of experienced photographers on hand to provide suggestions or advice where needed, and everyone came away with satisfying and dramatic images of the action.

Other workshops this summer have included trips to photograph butterflies and to Trac Môn race circuit.

The club’s workshops continue all year round and are an excellent way for members to try new techniques or to explore new places or creative approaches.

The club’s new season of Tuesday evening meetings will start on 3 September. New members are welcome to join then or beforehand – click here for the membership enquiry form.
