Members of Conwy Camera Club have been busy this autumn supporting local organisations and events. Despite wet weather, there was a good turnout of club members to photograph, at the town council’s request, the Remembrance Sunday commemoration in Bodlondeb and the parade to the church. At least the sun was shining on Armistice Day when the traffic stopped for two minutes’ silence at Lancaster Square.
Duncan Barrett and Tanya Liepins also took photos for the new website of Abergele Men’s Shed, which provides a space for men to get together and promotes men’s health and well-being through social interaction and physical and mental activity. Meanwhile, club member Maureen James photographed amateur musicians at the Conwy Town Orchestra’s October concert.
The club also photographed the ceremony at the Guildhall in October when the town council gave the ancient title of Honorary Bailie to Sharon Buckley and Adrian Hughes, two people who contribute much to our community.
