This month’s display on the club’s screen at the GH Edwards shop in Conwy High Street features work by Tom Griffin and a mouth-watering set of Food & Drink images. You can also view the sequence below.
New Zealander Tom is in his second year as a Conwy Camera Club member. His main interests are landscapes, nature and astrophotography, and his set for the screen includes photos of the Rosette and Orion nebulae and the Andromeda Galaxy. Tom enjoys trying out new techniques at the club, which keeps him busy with workshops, tutorials and outings throughout the year.

The Food & Drink images reflect club members’ creativity and sense of humour. Some of the images show retail and prep. Most were taken indoors, where club members like to exercise their imagination with kitchen implements, receptacles, fruit, spices, eggs, cutlery etc.
This month’s ‘Then and Now’ images from the club’s archive include a comparison of the view across Lancaster Square, Conwy, now and c.1950.
