The club’s latest workshop, at Trac Môn Race Circuit, Anglesey, was requested by our youngest member, Sam Kettle, 16, who is particularly interested in motor bike racing. The nine members who attended included Tom Thacker, who may well be our oldest member! Two of the members had never been to Trac Môn before.
We couldn’t have had a better day weather wise. It was a great opporunity to practise our photographic panning techniques.
Having found a good vantage point, we were ready for the action. We were not disappointed and managed to capture the atmosphere from the day.
In August the club will have another workshop at a race track – of a very different kind. We’ll be visiting Tir Prince to photograph the harness racing (horses pulling small chariots). Click an image to view large.
