This month’s display on the club’s screen at the GH Edwards shop in Conwy High Street features work by Dan Richards and a set of Creative images. You can also view the sequence here, on our YouTube channel.
Dan joined Conwy Camera Club in 2011, soon after buying his first DSLR camera. He has learned from the club’s talks, competitions and workshops, and enjoys the social side. He also gives much back to the club, including helping members on technical issues, and has designed the club’s Yearbook for many years. His set of images in the display reflects his interest in many subjects, particularly action and cityscapes.
The Creative images in this month’s display were all entered in the club’s annual Lionel Bloodworth Creative Challenge. They reflect many different approaches to creativity. Copies of all of the images, and many more, are available in the club’s recently published Creative Photography book, available for £10 in the GH Edwards shop.
The display also features photos from a recent ‘Light Painting’ workshop and of the visit of a Japanese delegation from Himeji visiting St Mary’s Church in Conwy. The club photographed the event at the invitation of Bro Celynnin Ministry.
