This month’s digital photo display by Conwy Camera club features work by Pat Preston, a sequence of ‘North Wales’ images, photos of recent local events and more results from the club’s ‘Summer Along the Coast’ archive project. You can view the sequence below (we are no longer able to show images on a screen at the GH Edwards shop).
Pat is one of the club’s veteran members, having joined in 1999. She is a past Chair of the club. Although her mobility has become restricted, she has been able to continue her passion for photography by using her mobile phone’s camera. Her sequence reflects her interests in travel and heritage locations in North Wales.
The images in the ‘North Wales’ sequence are by various members, many of whom are always on the lookout for images of different lighting and moods at favourite locations.
The sequence also shows images by club members of celebrations of the bicentenary of Conwy Suspension Bridge on 1 July, and photos from an exhibition in Conwy for the launch of the Llwybr Celynnin Camino, a pilgrimage route between five historic churches.
This month’s ‘Then and Now’ photos show Llanddulas in 1989 and 2024, and the same view of Llandudno beach taken roughly 150 years apart.
