Conwy Camera Club member Daniel Richards has won the Canon EOS magazine’s latest reader challenge with his intriguing image titled ‘Light Tunnel at Canary Wharf’.
During the summer, readers were invited to submit images on the theme ‘Straight lines’. A selection of entries – including Daniel’s ‘winner’ – is published in the October-December 2026 edition. Daniel receives a £100 voucher to spend on camera accessories.
He took the photo during a visit by Conwy Camera Club members to London in February. He visited the pedestrian tunnel in Canary Wharf on a Sunday evening and waited for no people to be in the shot.
This is the second time he has won the magazine’s reader challenge. In 2024 his photo of light trails made by trains at night near Battersea Power Station was the winner of the ‘Creative shutter speed’ challenge.
