This month’s display on the club’s screen at the GH Edwards shop in Conwy High Street features work by Vicky Marginson, a sequence of ‘People’ images and more results from the club’s ‘Summer Along the Coast’ archive project. You can also view the sequence below.
Vicky took up photography three years ago and has just finished her second season at Conwy Camera Club, where she has developed many friendships as well as her photography. Her sequence for the shop screen reflects her passion for portraiture and Still Life compositions, as well as her other photographic interests.
Various club members contributed images for the ‘People’ sequence. Some of the images were taken in studios, others depict people engrossed in activities such as motorbike scrambling, reading and knitting.
This month’s archive project images show contrasting forms of open-top transport at Rhos-on-Sea – a tram c.1950 and a double-decker bus in 2024 – and different generations of children enjoying the Punch & Judy show at Llandudno.
